Yes, this is the same Rachel Baker Bunting. There is info you need in Elizabeth Koleda' book Bunting Genealogy publ. 1983. I have the B history to 550 then to 1285 when King Edward gave John B a land grant, Bunting Field, in the family 640 yrs., still there. We descend from Anthony, 1540 or so, Wm., 1560 or so., and Anthony b. 1600 d. 1700 m. Eleanor Barker. This Anthony was f/o Job, Samuel, John and Wm. who migrated to the US. Anthony was the first in the family to break with the Church of England and received heavy persecution by the C of E for this. The King looked for BF in 1600's to destroy it because it was a Quaker meeting place but couldn't find it and turned back. Three of these brothers cofounded he Quaker Meeting in Crosswicks NJ which is still active in their 3rd bldg. Job did own land next to John and Samuel but when his wife died he moved over to Bucks Co. re an inheritance his wife had. He died there in 1702. Rachel then remarried and went to DE. Son Wm. didn't come over until 1703 and settled in Darby PA. His first wife, Mary Stevenson, is buried at Bunting Field. I will be out this pm to take my husband to the hospital but I will be back with you tonight. I will send all the info from the book. Bob Derber in UT descends from Job and he has more info on him than anyone I have found. I'll have him to contact you.
