Gary, I hope this address is still good. My husband was a cousin of your father. I have been working on the Hill family for years and searching for a marriage date and place for your father's parents, Elmer Bunn and Dove Esther Hill. I believe she was married earlier but she is listed in the 1900 census as Dove Hill, married 3 years, mother of one child but no children living. I have been told that Elmer Bunn died in a farm accident and is buried in Spring Creek cemetery in Beckham County, OK. I have visited this cemetery but don't remember there being a marker on his grave. After Elmer Bunn died Dove married a man named James Choate and had 2 daughters, Juanita (Dutch) and Verna. I have a group photograph that includes your father as a young boy. It was probably taken about 1916 or '17. I am going by the size of my husband (Floyd Hill) who was born in October 1913. Do you have any knowledge of where Elmer and Dove were married? There was also another daughter named Eva Esther, born in 1902. My records show your father as born in 1906.
