I have a Jesse Bunn with wife named Sarah (1850 Wayne Co., NC Census); another with wife named Easter (DB 20, p. 552); and another with wife named Temperance (DB 27, p. 296). These could be be one and the same, I am not sure.. I have additional information pertaining to their children that I am willing to share. Perhaps between the two of us we can place some of the people in proper order. I would like documentation showing that one Jesse Bunn married Sarah Sasser and that Jesse William Bunn was the father of Jesse Bunn.
Researching the Bunn is Wayne Co. can be somewhat confusing, in that the Bunn and Burn surnames are sometimes used interchangeably. For instance, a transaction in a Grantor Book under the name of Bunn, will appear in the Grantee Book under the name of Burn, or vice versa.
