Mike, the Jeremiah you seek is probably the son of Jeremiah Bunn and Mourning Curl of Nash Co., NC. Jeremiah's ancestors are as follows:
Benjamin Bunn m. Mary Fort
Burwell Bunn m. Charity Horn
Jeremiah Bunn m. Mourning Curl
Jeremiah W. Bunn
Henry Bunn was guardian for Jeremiah W. Bunn (DB 15, p. 307, Nash Co., NC). Henry Bunn and Jeremiah W. Bunn's father, Jeremiah, were brothers. For what it is worth, on page 53, Georgia Intestate Records, by Jeannette Holland Austin, is the following entry "Bunn, Jeremiah W., a lunatic, Jane Elizabeth Bunn and Isaac H. Moreland, guardian, 3 Jul 1854 (Houston, Guardian Bonds 1852-1855)." Also, a tombstone inscriptions at Hayneville Cemetery, First Baptist Church, Hayneville, Houston Co., GA reads "Jeremiah W. Bunn, b. 28 Sep 1822, d. 28 Mar 1892;
Elizabeth Jane Odom, b. 25 Mar 1830, d. 9 Jun 1889." Possibly this Elizabeth and the Jane Elizabeth Bunn mention above are one and the same, and the brother of Jeremiah W. Bunn.
