brower, dr. william
the brower family, originally came from holland, settled in east coventy, chester co., where the ancestors of henry brower, grandfather of dr. william, lived for 2 generations before him. gilbert, s/o henry married lydia urner. children; harrison, deceased, rev. isaac u., sallie m., and william. the latter, dr. william was born feb. 25, 1842 in east coventry, and maried sept 18, 189 to sallie m. d/o joseph kendelll of limerick, montgomery co., by whom he had one living child, blanche, born march 9, 1872

the mother was an urner, descended from a well known family which originaly came from the canon uri in switzerland, settle in the provice of alsace from which 3 brothers, john, jaob and matin urner came to america in 1708
