A biography/family history of Eugene Bunker is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 2.

Eugene F. was born 4 Feb 1888, to Frank M. and Elizabeth (Johnston) Bunker, b. 1854, Ridgefield, IL, d. Woodstock, IL, 1917 & b. 1859, IL, respectively. Children: George T., LaGrange, IL; Blanche C., Aberdeen, SD; Park J., Forsythe, MT; Alice (Mrs. J.B. Romans), Aberdeen, SD; Eugene F., and Donald, who died at age 4.

Eugene was educated in Woodstock, IL, and graduated from Morgan Park Preparatory School in 1907. Graduated from the law department of the University of Wisconsin in 1912. He immediately located to Bozeman, MT, to practice law.

On 27 Dec 1913, Bozeman, MT, Eugene married Miss Mariam Cooper, daughter of Walter and Mariam (Skeels) Cooper. Bunker children: Miriam Virginia, b. 20 Aug 1918; Betty b. ca 1920; Eugene F., Jr., b. ca 1928.

Mariam Bunker died 2 Jul 1981, age 90, Gallatin County, MT
Eugene F. Bunker, Jr., b. 11 Aug 1928, d. 2 Jun 1987, Houston, TX (per SS death index)
