I have a Gideon Bundy who married a Mary Peele(Peell)in my branch.
Gideon Bundy, the fourth son of Moses Bundy and Jane Perisho, was born in Perquimans Co., NC and moved with his parents to Wayne Co., NC. On November 12, 1785 he was reported to have married Mary Peele (Peell) in a Quaker Service at Contentnea M.M. in Wayne Co., NC. They soon moved to Pitt Co. and since there were no Quaker meetings in that area, they "left the fold". Gideon and Mary had one son, Josiah Bundy b. 1786. There is no record of any additional children, and Mary died while Josiah was a small child. Gideon married second to Ann Boggs, no children.
Josiah Bundy b. 1786, son of Gideon and Mary Bundy, was married in the early 1800's to Sally ???. Apparently he died prior to 1830 since Sally is listed as the head of the household with two sons under sixteen and one son over sixteen in the 1830 census. Noah Bundy son of Josiah and Sally Bundy, appears to be the only child to reach adulthood as reflected by his father's will and by the 1850 census.
