I'm specifically looking for info/ancestors of a Robert Charles Bunch, b. ca. 1826 in Indiana, who married Delilah Ann Clawson
(b. 1841, IN) - parents of William Richard Bunch, b. Oct. 1858 in Howard Co., IN. Wm R married Rosa Altha Faulkner in 1880.
They were the parents of Charles Robert Bunch who is my grandfather (b. 27 Nov. 1887, Petroleum Wells, IN, d. 19 Oct. 1964, Marion, Grant Co., IN).
I have a lot of info on Faulkners on that side of father's family tree I would be happy to share. Also seeking info on "Templin" family name on that side.
On grandmother's side (Jeannette Marion Posey, b. 12 Dec. 1894) I am seeking ancestors of her granddaddy, Andrew Jackson Posey b. Nov. 1840 in Indiana. He married Eliza Ellen Israel 5 Sep 1860 in Franklin Co, IN & I am REALLY interested in her lineage.
Jeannette Marion Posey's mother was Caroline Schmidt, b. 5 Jun. 1869 in OH and Caroline's father was Matthew Schmidt b. 1831 in Prussia. Also trying to track these folks down.
There are reportedly Indians in the family (we were always told they were Kiowa but my father's research didn't unearth a single corroborating piece of information). Would love to learn more about this family mystery also.
