BUNCH, William Penn VA > KS

Hi, Fellow Bunch Researchers:

My g-g-g-grandmother's third marriage was to William Penn BUNCH on 31 Oct 1878 in KS. According to the death notice one of my cousins recently found, William was born in Jackson Co., VA on 01 Nov 1833. I assume this means what later became Jackson Co., WV. He died in Wellsville, KS on 22 Feb 1903. Another cousin has an old photograph--date and place not noted--of a group of people who are identified only as "Bunch cousins".

We have been unable to find out where William was prior to the 1880 Franklin Co., KS Census. We have been unable to find out anything about his parents, siblings, or possible previous marriages and children.

Has anyone run across the name of William Penn or William P. BUNCH in the course of your research?

HAPPY HUNTING!
Janice Bullock Williams
