I found this link on the TN-GENWEB which also lists some BUNCH surnames. I believe there is a Charles H Daugherty and Arminda Bunch. There is a contact at the bottom of the list.

I also am looking for a Sallie BUNCH, b, 1770-1780 who married a William DAUGHERTY, b 1760-1770. Her father is believed to be a Sam BUNCH. Both Wm and Sallie were part Cherokee born in NC/VA, but were not on any roll. They were in TN having children 1795-1810. They went west of the Mississippi River by 1830 (possibly earlier) and were found in AR in 1830 & 1840. Some of their descendants went on to Texas, Kaufman County. Thanks
