I was wondering about your post. My great-grandmother was Letha Ellen Minerva Gentry, her mother was Georgia Bell Bunch of Arkansas....my great-grandmother was named after her aunt, Letha, and I too have this name. Not much is known about my great-grandmothers side of the family, I believe she had a brother named Leroy, and maybe others. I know they were related to the Duncan family is Arkansas in Blythville and Half Moon...I was told Georgia Bell's mother and father were from England, and she spoke with a slight accent even though she was born here, and they were farmers...was wondering if any of this rings a bell? She married my great-grandfather, I forgot his name, but his last name was Gentry....Letha Ellen married a John Parker Doss and had 6 kids, and she later moved here to Chicago. John P. Doss was half Indian and hald Scottish....please let me know if we are related!!!
