Hi Lesa
I was checking the Bunch forum. I realized I don't remember if I got back to you. I kind of gave up on the Bunch line for awhile. I gave a lot of my information to my cousin. This is what I know about David. David was my gggrandmother's brother. Their father was Martin Bunch and their mother was Ann. There are court records in Claiborne Co. TN about land they inherited from their father. Their mother Ann remarried a Daniel Hopson. Their brothers and sisters named in the will was James, David, Tompsey, Jinny (Jane), Lewis and Winslow. Tompsey was my gggrandmother. I think most of the children were born in Grainger Co. TN. There is a Martin Bunch there in the late 1700. All of the information I found said he died ca 1814 in Claiborne Co. The court records show that David sold his land to his brother James and it was handled through the courts from Clark Co. Ar. I need to get into my records to give you dates etc. Let me know if you would like to know more.
My email is
booknut7@comcast.net
I would like to hear from you.
Sorry I have been so long in answering.
Darlene
