Confederate Service Records, 1861-1865

Name: Rabbit Bunch
Military Unit: First Cherokee Mounted Rifles (1st Arkansas Cherokee Mounted Rifles)

I read your other posts about the one who went out for a pack of smokes and never returned..it is likely that isnt totally true ..did they have packs of cigarettes back then? He may have went out for something...my DAD did that once...grrr...but he came back.

Anyway...you do know that in some census that Native Americans were shown as black..In fact the 1870 census shows no BUNCH Native Americans...and you know know that can't be true

I will be happy to help you search if you like...just let me know what you do have so I don't duplicate it. I use ancestry.com

Happy Hunting,

Connie
