Mary here is everything I have on this Drury Bunch.
1. 1799 re-constructed Cumberland Co, Ky 1800 census record
shows Drury Bunch, one horse
2, Kentucky Land Entries 1796-1834
dated June 24, 1799 #856
200 acres of poor land, located south of the Cumberland River, near the low Nobb beginning at 2 white oaks and running nearly S179 Poles to a corner thence running nearly w for Quantity so as to include his improvements--original assignee ws Drewny Bunch, he assigned to James Noulin, who in turn assigned it to Thos Maernurry, who assigned it to Wm Ussery, who in turn re-assigned the land warrent to one Edward Hunter.
3. 1808 voters list of Randolph Co, Indiana
Page 39, Drury Bunch.
4. 1810 census (haven't located him yet)
5. 1820 census for St. Landey Parrish, Lousiana
page 108 no twp listed is Drury Bunch- a very strange census record that I have ever seen, shows a total of 8 in household engaged in agriculture, no ages or gender given for any of them.
6. one Israel Bunch marries Rachel Hoon one county over from St. Landey Parrish, Lousiana in Adams Co,La, Drury's son? again I have no proof yet, but i believe it is.
7. another Bunch researcher Russ Klicker found this record-
a Rio Hondo claimant, Louisana Purchase that this Drury Bunch received over 600 acres of land located in LA and is believed to be from his military service.
another record Russ found is one Valentine Bunch who fought in the Battle of San Jacinto in the state of Texas, who I also believe is a son of this Drury Bunch but again no proof.

as to the age of this Drury Bunch, It is highly likley he is the father of your Mary Bunch who married in St. Landey Parrish, La. in 1829. My Israel Bunch was born about 1774 to give you a guide line of the age of this Drury Bunch, since he was listed as a voter in 1807 Indiana (was a person over 21 years of age) he also was born about this time, making him a young gentleman of about 35-40 years old when your Mary was born.

Russ Klicker has done a lot of hard work on the Cumberland Co,Ky Bunch families, he has a Bunch web site located At:
http://www.home.earthlink.net/~ogemah/index.htm.
my other sugestion would be to start with the deed records of St. Landry Parish of Lousiana.
margie
