In trying to receive from the state of Missouri the Civil War Record for my Calvin Bunch the archives sent me this one on a C. C. Bunch that isn't mine. thought it might help someone out there researching his family:

soldier's name: C. C. Bunch Pvt.
served in Co. "I" 13 th Mo. Vol. Inf. C.S.A
date enlisted July 5, 1862

place of enlistment left blank

Departure Dec 15, 1862 from Ft. Smith. Died of wounds received at Prairie Grove. Buried at Fort Smith, Arkansas same day. Muster Roll on File Adj. Gen. Office--Jefferson City, Mo.
Hope this will help someone.
