Thanks for the info Steve. Its very interesting. I dont think I need copies because Martha is not in my direct line but parts of the puzzle will fall into place eventually. I have a hard time with the Bessinger line and documentation.
My main puzzle is Wm F Bessinger(1816-1906) buried in Spring
Branch Baptist church cemetary in Bamberg. He had two wives
Nancy Catherine ___and Annie Catherine Smoke. Both are buried with him and both have the same death date on the stones. Now I know this could not possibly be correct! I need to know which wife was first (I believe Nancy was)and of course the death dates. Good luck on your search...
