Per a book in my possession "Park/e/s and Bunch on the trail West" published by Gateway Press, Inc. Baltimore 1974. " Bunch is listed as a Scottish name appearing in Perth in the 15th century. As with other names, there were various spellings: Bunche, Bunce, Bunsche. It is said to be derived from the French "bonne", meaning good, and to bethe same as the name Bunn. Much more in the book.
