Bunch Family Genealogy Forum

I have looked through this entire forum and have seen nothing on this line, which I am researching. Most of my info comes from Parke/s/ Bunch on the Trail West by Alice Crandall Parks. Teddy Richardson has a very extensive genealogy posted on this forum, but the information I have is different from his. I have three of the sons of John Bunch who d. 14 Mar 1741/42 and his wife Rebecca as David, James, and Samuel (these are the three to whom I am related). I have the children of David Bunch and Mary O. as Pouncy and Anthony. I have the daughter of James and his wife, Mary, as Elizabeth, and the daughter of Samuel and his wife, Mary, as Mary (Molly). There apparently weren't a lot of marriage prospects in the area in those days, because I have Molly, daughter of Samuel marrying her first cousin, Anthony, son of David. Their daughter's name was Nancy. Elizabeth, daughter of James, married her first cousin, Pouncy, son of David. Their son's name was James. James married Frances Flanagan, and their son's name was Hillary Pouncy Bunch. Nancy Bunch, daughter of Anthony and Molly, married Anderson G. Jones, and their daughter's name was Elizabeth B(unch?) Jones, who married Hillary Pouncy Bunch! Their son, James Anderson Bunch, is my great-great grandfather. Most of this activity took place in Virginia and Ohio. Is anyone else researching Bunches in this line? My real question is the name Pouncy, which is probably a last name used as a first name and does not appear in any line other than David Bunch's. Anyone know where it came from - Mary O's maiden name, for instance?
