My direct line ancestor is Esther L Ford, b. 15 Aug 1852 in PA and died 22 Nov 1934 in Golden Hill, Laceyville, Wyoming, PA.
From a census record I know Esther's father was Ransom (Ransford?) H Ford b. abt 1832 in PA. Her mother was Hannah, b. abt 1826-1827 in PA. From a secondary source I believe Hannah's maiden name may be Bump, daughter of George Bump (b. 1786), but I'm not sure. The census shows 4
children for Hannah and Ransom: Esther, Mary, David and Susan.
Does anyone have information they could share with me or could you suggest websites that I could look at to help me confirm if Esther Ford's mother is Hannah Bump, daughter of George Bump?
