Hi Linne,
Both the BUMPASS and BOWLES surnames somehow link to my tri-racial line of WEEDEN,WHILDEN,WEELDON/BROWN for which I
can make NO CONNECTIONS???
I am thinking that these surnames link thru Native ancestry, but I am unable to track.
Believe that my WEELDONS were in SC prior to settling in
Wilmington, NC in 1870, but can find no proof.
Can you help?
