I can't prove a negative. You have to prove a blood line with postive evidence. Until you can do that, Robert Bumpass' parentage remains unproven.

In all the family histories I have seen dealing with the Bumpass family none had positive documentation about the parentage of Robert Bumpass. Others have taken others opinion and twisted them into facts.

If we talk about the paths others have taken. I think it far more likely Robert came from early Bumpass families of New Kent Co. VA.
