So--can I take it from your last posting you are really not sure if you have Bumpass ancestry ?

Since you did find the marriage record in Wilson Co. TN for a Wm. E. Taylor & Elenor Bumpuss (sic), are you sure your W.E. Taylor had not been married twice ? Once to a Columbia .......? and then to Elenor Bumpuss ?

I have a small book dealing with Wilson Co. TN and the only other surname mentioned other than Bumpass was a Samuel Casey. No mention of Cayson or Kaison.

As far as the five different names on the different death records, the perons filling out the records obviously four people were wrong. I would check the families of the people giving the information to the clerk. Perhaps those surnames are part of their family.

I do not work in the KY counties you mentioned in your last posting. My grandfather was born in Union Co. KY, so that really is the only location I have books.

I will try to check at the public library here in Fairfax, VA to see if others have compiled marriage records for Hanover & Louisa counties VA.

Sorry this is all I can do for you. I would check out the in-laws connected with your direct line.

Good luck.
