I am just starting to search for my Bumpus
family connections. I have found that some
legal documents have different spellings
of my last name. Bumpus and Bumpas. I have
always used Bumpus. My father was born in
Farmersville, Texas and his family lived in
that area and around Durant, Okla. His name
was Leon Theodore Bumpus,Jr. He went by the
name "Bill". His mother's name was Rose Etta
(Maloy)Bumpus. His Bdate 12/11/05 died 06/27/50. Thanks for letting me visit.
