I have come across the Charlotte you mention but like you I think it is probably a different line. One strange note is that on the 1870 Haverstraw census, William Frost Bulson is shown as residing with Jonas and Mary Bulson (I'm assuming his parents), William's son George Marks is listed as a 1 year old and a 7 year old Amelia is listed but no Charlotte.
Living somewhere else? deceased? I'm not sure.
Another interesting note is that I found on a Lent genealogy that an Alfred and Catherine Lent had two daughters that married Bulsons. Elizabeth b aft 1826 Tompkins Cove, Rockland Co married a Frost Bulson b abt 1826. Charlotte Lent b aft 1827 married Jackson Bulson b abt 1827. I wonder if the Frost Bulson may be a connection to my William Frost Bulson.
I don't have much info on the Kakiat Church. My father says their is info about the church in the book, "History of Rockland County." I have read that the Reformed Church of Kakiat or West New Hempstead "brick church" was organized on Dec 4, 1774. It's books of baptisms and members are complete from its organization in 1774.Some marriage records are missing because they were held by pastors as their own property.
