Bulson Family Research

Trying to research the Bulson surname. My line resided in the Salem, Massachusetts from the late 1700's to mid 1800's. Where they originally came from I cannot figure. Benjamin is the prominent first name given from father to son for many generations as well as Sarah for the daughters. Wondered if they may have come originally from the Bulson's in the Albany, New York (Dutch) area? Please help. Thanks
