I remeber seeing somewhere that Bertram de Bulmer was an early sheriff in the northern nottinghamshire/Southern Yorkshire area.

I don't remember where I saw the source only that my Grandfather was born of a Bulmer and his name was Bertram, and that I foud it a funny coincidence.
