Maybe this can help someone with their search. if anyone has any further info or input please contact me.I have Jane Bulmer b later 1700's(?) married William Smith in 1803, They lived in the Cumb. Co, area of Nova Scotia. Janes' parents were George and Susannah (Dixon) Bulmer. George was born app 1760 in England and came to Canada as part of the "Yorkshire Emmigration" as a mason's apprentice (to William Freeze). He's listed as a passenger on the "Duke of York" in 1772 with William (who was married to George's sister Mary). George and Susannah's children were: - Charles b 1787 d 1864 m Elizabeth Oulton -James m. Ruth Harris (their children were William, Edward, George,Rebecca, Susan, Mary Ann, John and Hazen.) -John b 1793 m Rebacca Lawrence -George b1795 m Levinia Merrill -Edward b 1805 m Zene Kinnear -Nelson b 1805 m Abigail Merrill in 183 -William b 1809 m.Jane Crossman -Jane b1785 m William Smith -Ann m.Joseph Bowser in 1820 -Isabel b1801 m James Estabrooks -Elizabeth b 1787 m Henry McLellan in 1817 These were taken from the "History of Sackville, NB" by Dr. William Cochian Milner (1846-1939), originally published 1934 Tribune Press. The book can be found on-line but I don't have an address for it as the site i found it on has closed. George was the son of John and Grace Bulmer. John was a tenant of "Beilby Thomas"MP, near Escrich, south of York. His reason listed for emmigrating is that his rents were raised. He came on the "Two Friends" in 1774.
