Richard Bulmer's parents were both born in England. His father was Robert Agna Bulmer, and family history says he was born in the Isle of Scots (whereever that is). He joined the British Merchant Marine when he was 11 and jumped ship to enter the States US prior to WWII. He lived in Mexia, TX, then settled in Fort Worth after become US citizen. He married Elsie Eugenia Gillis, who was born in London. Family disowned her when her mother married
"beneath her station".
Elsie told me that some ancestor of Richard Bulmer's lost their family estate in a poker game!
