My 4xGreat Grandfather was a John Bulmer born in 1786 (Possibly in York, and possibly the son of Francis Bulmer and Helen Horsman)In the 1841 Census he was living in Green Hammerton near York, his occupation being "Shooter?". His wife was an Ann Sawyer who he married in Nun Monkton in 1817.
John & Ann had six daughters and no sons (that I can find record of)these being:-
Hannah b 1818
Mary b 1820
Ann b 1822 (M George Wilks, Farmer)
Sarah b 1824
Hannah b 1827
Jane b 1832 (M Richard Dawson, Ag Lab- My Ancestors)
Does anyone have any further info on this family?
