He married 7 Nov 1877, Marshall County, AL, to Rebecca George Kennamer, daughter of David Kennamer and Kitty Lewis Hodges, born 8 May 1862, Kennamer Cove, Marshall County, AL; died 16 Mar 1945, Mill Creek, Johnston, OK; buried Fletcher Cemetery, Mill Creek, Johnston, OK.
They were the parents of five children: William Lafayette Bulman, Sr.; Mary Elizabeth Bulman; James David Bulman; Herbert Zollicoffer Bulman; Osborn Denton Bulman.
