James William Bulman was born 20 May 1830 in Jackson County, AL; died 3 Apr 1885 in Marshall County, AL; buried Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Woodville, Jackson County, AL. He was a son of George Franklin Bulman and Lucinda Hatchet.
John William Bulman married Elizabeth Jane Bishop, daughter of William Henry Bishop and Mary "Polly" Wilder, 25 Feb 1852 in Woodville, Jackson County, AL by John J. Page, MG. They were the parents of seven children:
01. George Washington Bulman, born 1 Dec 1852,Woodville, Jackson, AL; died 6 Mar 1905, Woodville, Jackson, AL; buried Union Cemetery, Woodville, Jackson, AL. He married Martha Caldonia Woodall, daughter of James Riley Woodall and Sarah Elvira Hodges, 21 Sep 1871, Woodville, Jackson, AL and had ten children.
02. William Lee Bulman, born 1856, Woodville, Jackson, AL; died 8 May 1875, Jackson County, AL; buried Union Cemetery, Woodville, Jackson, AL. He married Lucy Ann Page, daughter of William Lewis Page and Permelia Barton Hodges, 16 Sep 1874, Woodville, Jackson, AL, and had one child.
03. John Nealy Bulman, born 12 Nov 1858, Kennamer Cove, Marshall, AL; died 22 Sep 1933, Mill Creek, Johnston, OK; buried Fletcher Cemetery, Mill Creek, Johnston, OK. He married Rebecca George Kennamer, daughter of David Kennamer and Kitty Lewis Hodges, 7 Nov 1877, Marshall County, AL, and had five chidren.
04. Mary Lucinda "Mollie" Bulman, born 7 Mar 1862, Woodville, Jackson, AL; died 16 Mar 1923, Woodville, Jackson, AL; buried Union Cemetery, Woodville, Jackson, AL. She married George Johnson "Crockett" Hodges, son of Robert Johnson Hodges and Martha Perkins, 27 Jul 1882, Madison County, AL, and had six children.
05. Henry Lafayette Bulman, born 11 Mar 1866, Woodville, Jackson, AL; died 24 Oct 1920, Scottsboro, Jackson, AL; buried Union Cemetery, Woodville, Jackson, AL. He married Pauline Elizabeth "Polina" Miller, daughter of John Alexander Miller and Mary Elizabeth Rush, 17 Sep 1885, Woodville, Jackson, AL, and had seven children. (This is my line.)
06. Joseph Fletcher Bulman, born 11 May 1869, Woodville, Jackson, AL; died 27 Feb 1934, Woodville, Jackson, AL; buried Union Cemetery, Woodville, Jackson, AL. He married Clara Susan Thomas, daughter of David Asapp Thomas and Eda Jane Maples, about 1887, Jackson County, AL, and had eleven children.
07. Albert Sidney Bulman, born 24 Mar 1874, Woodville, Jackson, AL; died 5 Oct 1895, Grapevine, Tarrant, TX; buried Lonesome Dove Cemetery, Tarrant County, TX. He married Martha Sophronie Hodges, daughter of John William Hodges and Sarah Frances Kennamer, 5 Mar 1891, Jackson County, AL, and had two children.
