Illinois Bullocks?

I am glad to have stumbled across this forum. For years I have been curious about the Bullock side of my family tree. My father was orphaned at age 9 or 10 (around 1920). We have no knowledge of any of the family past his father. I believe his name was James Henry and my grandmother's maiden name was Ford who also died in that same period of time. (TB epidemic). Does anyone have any information on any Bullocks who lived in southern Illinois. My father was born in Jefferson County but since the courthouse burned down in the 30's it is hard to get information. Just curious...thanks.

Jim
