I am researching my paternal grandmother's lineage as well as trying to establish contact with family members in and around SC.
My grandmother's name was Inez Bullock was originally from Horry County, SC, and married my grandfather, Fernie Lewis, in Dillon, SC, in the 1930's. Inez's parent's names were Anna Bullock (maiden name possibly Scarborough or Sarvis....b.1895 d.1974) and Walch Bullock (birth and death dates unknown).
It was said that Anna (nicknamed Annie) Bullock was married twice, both men with the last name Bullock. Either way, five children were born to Anna and Walch, and they were Fanny, OV, Hughee, Shirley, and my grandmother, Inez (b.1916 d.1992).
Anna, Walch, and family lived in Horry County, SC. My grandmother Inez settled with her husband and two children, my father Billy and his brother Lindsey, in Dillon.
I believe Hughee and OV Bullock remained in and around Horry County, having families of their own, but both have passed on. Fanny Bullock, I am told, married (married name unknown), had children, and settled in Florence, SC. I know Shirley married, her last name possibly being Caulda, and had at least three children...Randy, Lucy, and another son whose name I am unaware of.
I have yet to find out information concerning Anna and Walch Bullock's parents and/or siblings. This is all the information I have at the moment. I would like to trace this family line back as far as possible. I would also like to contact all extended members of this family.
