In an excerpt from an old study by Walker Hume Bowman ("A Partial History of John Bowman, his son Cornelius Bowman, their Descendants and Closely Related Families") we find reference to the "Family files of Edmund H. Bullock (Mrs. T. F. McConnell, Lexington, Ky)" Among these papers of Mr. Bullock, we are told there was an account written in his own hand as told to him by his grandmother, Polly Moore Bowman (b. 1789/90, Madison Co.,KY), wife of Thomas Bowman (b. 1782 at either VA or Watauga, TN; he was s/o Cornelius "Neal" Bowman Sr. b. 1740 VA). As a descendant of Cornelius, I would love to see what Mr. Bullock had to say about my ancestors. Edmund B. Bullock's parents were Thomas and Polly's daughter Isabella Bowman who married John Clark Bullock 29 Dec 1836 Owsley Co., KY. Does anyone know the present whereabouts of the papers of Edmund H. Bullock? Does anyone have a copy they would care to share? Please help! Jack
