Two obituaries, 1914 DR. WILLIAM R. BULLOCK. Dr. William R. Bullock, oldest Fellow of the College of Physicians, died on Wednesday night at the home of his son, John G. Bullock, 6439 Greene Street. Dr. Bullock was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on October 4, 1824. He was a graduate of Haverford College and of the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania. After three years' practice in this city, Dr. Bullock removed to Wilmington, where be continued to practice his profession until his retirement about eight years ago. During the Civil War he was surgeon of the United States Government Hospital at Wilmington. He was one of the incorporators of the Delaware Hospital and consulting physician emeritus of that institution at the time of his death. For a number of years Doctor Bullock served as president of the Board of Education of Wilmington and director of the Wilmington Saving Fund Society. Besides his son, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive. The funeral service will be held this morning at! eleven o'clock at the residence of his son, and the interment will be made this afternoon at Wilmington. Dr. William R. Bullock aged 91 years, 6439 Greene Street, November 18. He was the oldest living fellow of the College of Physicians, and for fifty-six years was a physician in Wilmington, Del.
