Jerrilyn,

Did your husband's family emigrate from Virginia to North Carolina to Georgia and then to Arkansas? If so, and they changed the spelling of their name in Georgia, I think he is part of my Bulloch heritage. It is said we descend from Capt. Hugh Bullock, but I have not been assured of this. Do you have any information to that effect?

Our ancestors that changed the name were Henry and Cyprian, brothers from North Carolina. Their father, Stephen, was the last one who used the "k" at the end of the name. Stephen also had a brother James, whose line moved to Georgia, also, and two generations later changed their name, too.

Does any of this information correspond with yours?

Thank you. Bonnie
