Thank you for responding. I am making several shots in the dark trying to identify Lydia's maiden name, and this forum is one of many on which my query has been posted. I have identified virtually everyone in the cemetery where Amy and Thomas BULLOCK are buried. The land belonged to her brother, Newton Cannon MAXWELL, who is also buried there. His wife was Nancy Jane STEM. The 2nd wife of John W MAXWELL was Mahala F STEM, sister of Nancy. John W MAXWELL was another of Amy's brothers. He and Mahala were buried in the same cemetery. Should you desire details about the BULLOCK family members, feel free to ask. Also the STEM sisters' descendants, since they were cousins of Thomas. Asa STEM, uncle of Thomas F BULLOCK, was the father of Nancy and Mahala.
