Where did he get the name Porter from? Is this a Family name that has been passed down?
There is a William Porter Bullock b. Jan 13, 1832 in Chapel Hill, Tenn. died May 6, 1906 and is buried at Lone Oak Cemetery, Lewisburg, Tenn. Married Mary Catherine Holden. This information on William Porter Bullock was found in the Thornton Library in Oxford, NC.
