To all my relationsbearing the name Bulluss or variations, iss, oss, ass, ess.
Registration 1005 reads. Investigations of the surname Bulluss or a variant show that it appears in English documents from at leastthe 13th century when records show that John de la Bulehuse was living in Hampshire in 1224 A D . A century later Henry de Bolus was entered in the subsidy Rols of Derbyshirein 1327. The Subsidy Rolls were relief granted by parliment to the king in times of need to assist the country with finance in times of need or urgency, such as war etc. This money was recovered by the realm in the form of taxes which were leviedon the general population. This method of tax collection was used extensively during the early 1300,s. More recently, William Bullos was mentioned in the Sheffield Catalogue of Charters in 1502 as was Thomas Bulluss in 1564.
Blazon of Arms Gules three bars wavy argent on a chief or an annulet between two bulls' heads cabossed sable through each of their nostrils an annulet of the last. Gules being red indicates military resulution and magnanimity.
Crest On a mount vert, a Bull passant argent the dexter foot on roundle asure.
Could some one please advise if heritage Chart or Family tree has been done for America. Australia has been commpleted should any one want one.
