Was the second wife of your David Buller named Elizabeth Wedel? I am trying to trace a Peter D. Buller, b. 1845, son of David Buller, b. 1817, back to the first Buller to be recorded in the Mennonite Church. This is Jeorgen Buller, b. 1665, who married Dina Thoms, B. 1670. I have a David Buller, b. 1813, married to an Elizabeth Wedel, b. 1823, who had a son Peter Buller, b. 1845. A descendant of David Buller, b. 1817, has the skin disorder mentioned below. I am tracing family lines of Holdeman Mennonite's who have an inherited skin disorder called Lameller Ichthyosis (LI). They make skin cells faster than they can be shed, resulting in "fish scale" skin. (My husband's cousin has it.) I want to see how many afflicted people I can trace back to a single family. Any members of such an identified family would then receive genetic testing at a much lower cost. Of the eighteen "LI" afflicted individuals I have traced, fifteen are descendants of Dina Thoms or her siblings. The remaining "LI" individuals trace to Christian Schultz and Anna Palman, or Peter C. Unruh and Helena Schutlz. These two couples I have been unable to trace any further back. Contact me if you have ever heard of someone who has/had "LI" with a Mennonite background, or information about the above mentioned families.
