I don't have any information about the james buller you seek, but I am seeking information about moses buller of Guilford County, North Carolina. I have traced my ancestry here in Indiana back to Joseph Buller, who was born in North Carolina and was listed in the Ohio census in 1830 in Preble County, and the Indiana census in 1840. In 1840 he lived on a plot of land in Shelby and Decatur counties, Indiana, which he purchased in 1837. Also listed in the 1840 census in the same neighborhood was a "John Buler." I have found no further information on John, but Joseph might have been the son of Moses Buller in North Carolina. I havn't found any proof of that, or any further information on Moses. James, Joseph and John are very common names among the Bullers and Bullards here in Indiana (Joseph's son Thomas changed his name to "Bullard" about 1880. I would appreciate any information you might have. Thank you.
