My Bullard g-grandfather was also named Buller. He came to Indiana in 1840 by way of Ohio from North Carolina. His two eldest sons, Joseph and William went by the name of Buller while the other six children used the Bullard name. After 7 years of searching we still haven't figured out the name change but it appears to have been a common occurence. Any ideas?
