Hi Tony, had a thought about Sir Walter's father. You said he was a clergyman although not which church. If he was an Anglican he probably would be in Crockford's Directory of clergy. I think that it is what it is called. I have only heard it called "Crockford's". A well known directory which should be avaiable in a large reference Library.
