My Great Grandfather Alexander Bulert is the one who came to America in 1888 and became a U.S. Citizen in Cook Co. Il. in 1895. On his citizenship papers his last name is spelled "Bulert" from the Empire of Germany, he later change his name to Bullard we don't know why.
My grandfather Alexander Bullard was born in Chicago Il.
01Mar1898 and my Great Grandfather moved the family to Portage Co. Wi. near Stevens Point, Wi. when he was 2 years old according to a census record my dad had.
I have little resourches to look for records, but I need to send for some records to Wisconsin. My dad sent one to the State of Illinois years ago, but it showed no records of death for my great grandfather. SO my thinking is he stayed around Stevens Point, WI. and my grandfather moved back to Chicago.

Thanks
