Thank you so much for sending the information as to Griffith BULLARD, fl 1742 SC, being a feltmaker. Working a bit more on the online records from SCDAH concerning Edward BULLARD, it appears there were at least two--one older--possibly a brother and son. One Edward BULLARD was on Sampit Crk of Winyaw. It seems to be Edward BULLARD, Carpenter--probably the husband of Elizabeth (fl 1736). Some names that turned up of interest to me are the following: FITCH, Tobias (located, I think, in Pureysburgh, SC) FRYER, Wm GORDON, James (1050 ac tract) McKENZIE, George, Merchant of Bristol (England?) SWINTON TIBAUT, Louis WALLACE & CLELAND -- Wm WALLACE & John CLELAND, Merchants of Charles Town, SC VAUGHAN, Rowland WOOD, Henry & Robert (possibly some connection to Henry WOOD d abt 1741, fl Ashley River?--Is he the husb of Ann?) A good bit earlier than Edward & Griffith BULLARD, I noted Hopkin & Richard BULLARD in SC. [p8, LANGLEY's SC Deed Abstracts] Any comments or suggestions for further research will be greatly appreciated. Notify Administrator about this message?
