Dear Jayna,
Thank you for your response. My records indicate that Michael Jeff. and Permelia Donnell married in Rhea County, TN, which seems to indicate that Ann Bulger Troublefield moved to TN with her youngest children. I notice that M.J.'s write-ups in the old AL history books don't say that but TN marriages recorded this marriage. I am a descendent of the Johns - John R. and John Clark Bulger but cannot connect them to the John who was in the Revolution in SC. Probably the burned records in Richland would have helped.
