john j. bulger born about 1836 in ireland. i don't know where and i don't know when he came to the u.s. he married catherine(ryan,i think) and they had 8 children of which 7 survived to adulthood. this is all in the brooklyn area and he worked in the liquor business sometimes in manhatten and sometimes in brooklyn. the children start with
