Teresa,

In your list of children of Pierce and Ann, you included children of Michael's second wife (according to your ancestor's letter). In the 1810 census, Pierce had 4 sons, no daughters. The sons were: Michael J., Charles, John Carroll, and William C. (probably). At least, these were the ones who went to AL. Perhaps George died. Ann, widow of Pierce, was with Michael J. in 1850 in Tallapoosa Co., , AL., age 70. Daniel was probably another son. He was b. SC 1811 and was in Coosa Co., AL 1850. My Bulgers are probably an allied family - John R. and Elizabeth Clark Bulger. A John Bulger sued for pay for service on the ship SC during the Revolution. His lawyer was a neighbor of Pierce. He may be the father of John R.

Betty
