Stargel village close to Sofia Bulgaria

I am searching for any information about the Stargel Village about 30 miles east of Sofia in the Balkan Mountains. I would like to know the history of the village and where it got its name? Are any Stargel families living there? I am wondering if my ancestors came from this village. I have tried my local library, the internet and have tried emailing those from Sofia to get some information but I do not speak Bulgarian so I guess they did not understand my emails. Any information on this village will be helpful. Thanks....... Thomas Stargel
