My Grandfather came to US in early 1900 also from Bulharia and worked on the railroad. He lived inn Granite City Ill and also stayed at Gilberts in Kane Co Ill. Dont know if Gilberts is a town or a store. Go to Granite City and check the micro- film or it is probably on computer by know. I found my Grandfathers name and what boarding house he stayed in.Also try several different spellings as they werent to accurate on spelling forgine names. There are hundreds of Bulgarians who worked on the railroad in the early 1900. I have never heard of that village but will see what I can find out. All my family is still in Bulgaria and I have been there several times. I will contact them and see what I can find out. Yona
